This is also a remarkable place for religious people, because Omkareshwara Temple, Bagmandala Temple, Sri Shringeri Shankar Math, etc. are situated here. 2. Kumarakom, Kerala
Backwater is one of the natural graces of South India. Kumarakom is a beautiful, mostly visited place of Kerala, situated on Vembanad Lake. One of the captivating things here is riding in houseboats. Percepting the natural beauty of palm trees, coconut trees and wonderful mangroves with smashing breeze of backwaters is an unforgettable moment of Kumarakom.

Though the best time to come in Kumarakom is October, but most of the bird lovers come here in summer to see cuckoo, egret, moorhen, cormorant, Siberian Storks, etc. unique birds here. 3. Wayanad, Kerala

5. Hampi, Vijayanagara

The mesmerizing heritage of South India is Hampi of Vijayanagar, made at the time of king Vijayanagar. This is an entity of Indian's great sculpture and culture. Amazing temples, admirable architecture, historical forts, etc. are the attraction points of Hampi. October is the best time to visit Hampi, due to the favorable climate.
